• Bloom Time!

    We enjoyed a nice dinner while distilling the lavender this weekend. Fresh bundles of lavender are ready to cut or pick up. The L.angustifolia (English) lavender is ready now. This is the type you not only use in sachets and other crafts but it is what is used in cooking as well. The Lavandin, which is the taller variety with a stronger camphor scent will be ready next week. Stop out and enjoy the field, it is lush with green grass and a purple haze.
