The Lavender Lane is a popular, fun, and relaxing destination. You are welcome to come and enjoy the field during business hours at no charge.
Paid guided tours with the owners are available and involve a “walk and talk” through the field learning about and viewing the various varieties of lavender with a final stop in the farm store. We welcome group tours by appointment also and currently offer two types of demonstrations.

SCHEDULED Demonstrations
Tours who wish a demonstration can be scheduled for a small fee per person for each demonstration.

Current demonstrations offered:

Lavender Propagation – Five minute greenhouse (*$5.00 each)

  • Guests learn to start their own lavender plant by propagating from a stem cutting and planting it in a water bottle. Each guest takes home their own lavender plant start.

    • Lavender Farm to Fork
      (*$5.00 each)
      • Guests view how to harvest, dry, de-bud, and clean culinary lavender. After a discussion on how to cook with lavender each guest gets a tasty sample.
        • Group tours are available throughout the spring, summer, and fall since we have designed the field in an inviting setting for viewing during those seasons. Although the peak bloom time for the lavender is in June we sometimes have a smaller second bloom in September that is lovely with the ornamental grasses.

Those with significant mobility restrictions may find it difficult to manage the field however, chairs and benches are placed throughout the area.

*We respectfully ask that one group member collect the individual fees from members and pay as a group following the tour.

Please call (260) 854-4494 to discuss any questions you may have or to book your outing.
